Refund policy

Since the Website offers non-tangible, irrevocable goods we do not provide refunds after the product is purchased, which you acknowledge prior to purchasing any product on the Website. Please make sure that you’ve carefully read service description before making a purchase.

Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Tickets are sold on our behalf by TicketSource for in-house events and on behalf of third parties hiring the venue. By using or visiting the TicketSource website, you agree to the TicketSource Terms and Conditions.

Ticket Sales, Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds (In addition to the TicketSource Terms and Conditions)

Tickets purchased for all events are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless otherwise stated.

For events produced and performed by the Dilys Guite Players:
If any member of your party is unwell and unable to attend, please let the Box Office know before the performance begins by emailing boxoffice@lanterntheatre.org.uk. In these instances, we are happy to offer an exchange for another performance date of the same event, or transfer the tickets to another Dilys Guite Players production currently on sale.

For all other cancellations, tickets remain non-refundable. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may give your ticket to a friend or family member as long as you do not contact The Lantern to cancel it. Once you contact The Lantern to cancel your ticket, it will be cancelled and cannot be used by anyone else; we reserve the right to resell it.

For events performed by external companies and hirers:
Tickets are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged, and we are unable to issue a voucher. If you are unable to attend, you may give your ticket to a friend or family member as long as you do not contact The Lantern to cancel it. Once you contact The Lantern to cancel your ticket, it will be cancelled and cannot be used by anyone else; we reserve the right to resell it.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms, helping us continue to provide high-quality performances and support the arts in our community.

Cancellation or Rescheduled Events (In addition to TicketSource Terms and Conditions)

In the event of a performance being cancelled or rescheduled, we will not be held responsible for any ancillary expenditure incurred, which includes (and is not limited to) travel, accommodation and food.

Offers and Discounts

The Dilys Guite Players Ltd, Lantern Theatre Ltd and all external companies or hirers performing at The Lantern in Sheffield reserve the right to introduce or withdraw discounts and offers to ticket prices at any time. These discounts and offers cannot be applied to tickets already purchased. Only one discount or offer can be applied per booking unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
