Refund policy

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you would like to return the product for a refund during this period, you may do so provided the conditions below have been met. Please note that if the period of 30 days has lapsed, we can’t, unfortunately, offer you a refund.

Refund requirements

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund:

  • Product is defective
  • Product is not as described
  • Product must be unopened
  • Product must be in original packaging
  • Product must be unused
  • Product must not be damaged

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue a refund. Perishable goods are completely exempt from being returned.

Proof of purchase

To complete your refund, we require a receipt, purchase order or other proof of purchase. Please note that without the aforementioned proof of purchase, we will not issue a refund but will provide you with a store credit instead.

Sale and clearance items

Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale or clearance items cannot be returned.

Shipping items

In order to return an order, you must contact us first and obtain and include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization.

Visit any of our retail locations to return your items purchased through our online store. Our staff member will process your return or exchange for you.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a refund.

All refunds will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

U-Brew Products

As we are selling you ingredients and a service, it is not possible to return U-Brew batches. In accordance with BC Liquor Control Guidelines, we must destroy abandoned batches as the products made with us cannot be re-sold.

We will hold your batch for 60 days after fermentation completes. After 60 days, we will consider your batch to be abandoned and destroy it. There is no refund for abandoned batches.

U-Brew Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with your U-Brew purchase, we will replace the unused portion of your batch. You must return your unused U-Brew to us for destruction within 30 days of your bottling appointment.

Upon receipt of the unused portion of your batch, a new batch will be started following our normal brewing processes. As we are not a manufacturer of alcohol, we do not stock replacement product. BC Liquor Control Guidelines prohibit brewing of batches without a signed customer invoice.
